SOCIAL MEDIA SUPPORT FOR WOMEN WITH ENDOMETRIOSIS: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

Background and Purpose: Social media is a key source of health information. Previous studies have indicated that women with endometriosis turn to the internet for information about condition illness management. However, there dearth study on online supportgroups. In contrast, examining role support groups other long-termconditions been extensive. Addressing this gap, systematic review research social its efficacy were conducted.
 
 Methodology: Using qualitative method Meta-Analyses Protocols (PRISMA-P)., database namely Research Gate, Springer, Wiley Online Library, Science Direct, Jstore, PubMed manually searched using keywords such as "social support," "endometriosis online," "Facebook & communication". The examined related Facebook. Based inclusion exclusion criteria, 100 full-text papers extracted from initial 200 publications found. 36 selected following appraisal stage thematically analysed. Findings: platform Endometriosis Facebook are found set expectations, provide education, highlight ways manage chronic illness. Three prominent themes identified: (1) topics groups, (2) efficiency Virtual Help Communities Patients, (3) forms require.
 Contributions: findings two primary points. educate illness, connects them others in similar situations, promotes discussion networking, hence pointing potential benefit both education. Keywords: Health communication, research, media, support, endometriosis.
